Heroes Animals Farm
Heroes Berkshire runs Monday - Friday in Holyport Maidenhead Berkshire. It is a therapeutic animal farm where children can attend and work alongside the animals, the children learn lots of others skills, like team work, staying on task, confidence, independence, empathy, patience, all learnt through working hands on with animals on the farm
We have a small animal farm that is a very child friendly environment, we have lots of small animals, like hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, degus, chinchillas and lots of big animals shetland ponies, horses, alpacas, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks. We also have an array of reptiles.
The centre is aimed at all ages from 5 years +
Heroes Farm
Children/young people can also get involved in art sessions, animal handling, reptile handling, free play or spend some time in The Hub on their own or with friends which is filled with games, art materials, craft materials, books. They can do Jewellery making, wood work, paint a canvas.
Children are left for the session if over 7 years, or parents can stay on site and use our other spaces to have some time to relax themselves.
All our staff working directly with children DBS Checked and have had First Aid Training.
